Becoming a CPBT is a stepping stone on the pathway to your successful coaching or sports career. Work part-time, 5-20 hours per week, supplementing your income giving you the freedom to follow your own life goals.
Best of all it’s quick to get certified and you can start straight away - you don’t need your Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness to begin working. There are no prerequisite qualifications to obtaining your CPBT accreditation.

Attend a Core Strength Workshop (1 hour) - FREE.
Complete Pelleres Base Training (4 x 45 min sessions over 3 or 4 weeks; 3 hours total). Recommended retail prices vary from $150 for groups up to 4 to $540 for one-on-one.
Enroll and complete our CPBT online course at your own pace (approximately 5 hours).
Submit your assessment.
Once you pass your assessment you will receive your Certificate of Graduation, Professional Indemnity, and Public Liability Certificate of Currency and you can begin to start work delivering PBT immediately.
All course fees are tax deductible which means you can claim them as a working expense at the end of the financial year.
The CPBT course is only $711.00 (ex gst). PBT is not included in the course costs.

Do you have payment plans?
Yes we offer payment plans. For a deposit of only $150.00 you can get started. Administration fee of $27 apply. With 6 x $98 monthly payments. Total amount: $738
How much money do I charge per PBT program?
The recommended retail price for PBT is as follows:
4 participants - $150 each, total income $600
3 participants - $200 each, total income $600
2 participants - $300 each, total income $600
1 participant - $540, total income $540
How long does it take to do the assessment?
The CPBT PowerPoint lecture consists of 4 x 50 minute lectures. Students can complete the theory assessment during the lectures. The practical assessment takes no longer than 1 hour to complete.
Do I need to do PBT to pass the course?
Yes you need to complete a PBT program. This can be done before or after the CPBT course. All participants who complete PBT receive a Certificate of Completion.
Can we do the CPBT course in person?
The CPBT course is run by The College of Health & Fitness, contact them directly to find out when courses are run. Costs may vary.
What happens after 12 months with the Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance?
There is a yearly fee of $211 (ex-gst, subject to change) to maintain your insurance and status as a CPBT.
Do I have to attend a Core Strength Workshop?
Yes. You complete a Core Strength Workshop when you are introduced to PBT. Prior to starting all PBT programs participants attend a Core Strength Workshop. You will receive a Core Strength Workshop Certificate of Attendance.
What is a Recognised Pelleres Training Studio (RPTS)?
An RPTS is a licensed business where CPBT work from.
